As a wedding floral designer in Vermont, I know the romance and magic of Shelburne Falls. One of Vermont's truly special destination wedding locations. I had the pleasure of designing an intimate wedding there for Mallory and Tommy. The bride had a clear vision for her special day of traditional elegant New England style but soft and romantic, a perfect fit for my naturalistic design style. I worked closely with them to create their wedding floral design that was perfectly in sync with the season, their vision, and their location.

Their color palette and style were perfectly congruous with the Fall landscape and the location. French blue, white, rust, and soft peach were the dominant colors, creating a stunning contrast against the warm hues of the changing leaves, and were in keeping with the desired style of traditional elegant New England yet soft and romantic. The bride's bouquet was a beautiful combination of garden roses, dahlias, and ranunculus, with accents of fall foliage and delicate berries grown especially for the couple on our sustainable flower farm.

For the reception, we created centerpieces that were classic, natural, and elegant. The vessels chosen were from our private vintage green ceramics collection, a perfect pairing adding sophistication to the traditional New England aesthetic.

As a wedding floral designer, I take pride in creating designs that reflect the vision of each couple yet are in my unique design style. Growing our couple's wedding flowers ourselves where our clients are married means that our flowers have a deeper meaning and connection for our couples. It also means I can include heritage flowers in my designs that no one else is using. This means our couples get truly unique wedding florals. We take pride in providing our couples with not just wedding flowers but creating a romantic wedding floral experience that is farm-to-vase as much as possible. Creating a romantic, naturalistic, and enchanting atmosphere with wedding florals means we know that our couples will remember and cherish their celebration that much more.
